• Set the BU IT strategy and IT roadmap based on the desired state
• Work in close cooperation with the BU Management Team and Managers to understand and define the need
• Align IT Strategies with the regional head of IT
• Ensure compliance with corporate strategy and IT-related Scania principles, standards, methods and policies.
• Lead, delegate and support the IT team and employees (Spain and Portugal)
• Participate in Business Improvement Groups for IT
• Manage relation with both captive and non-captive dealers in the area of IT
• Manage relation with suppliers, with Scania IT, with the management team and regional Head of IT and with customers.
• Acts to proactively preserve assets by implementing (information) security and control structures as well as disaster recovery and back-up procedures.
• Perform and follow up action points defined in IT-audits. Manage the security of the information and risks.
• Encourage innovation within the team and the individual employees.
• Set agenda for standardized work methods and improvement activities and manage resources within the same department
• Follow up on Improvement activities and goals in connection to the business objectives
• Ensure transfer of best practice between teams within the same department
• Ensure that the organization is working in accordance with the principles of SRS and that improvements are a natural part of the daily work
• Act as the technical lead to define and support the technical aspects of the infrastructure, devices, communications, user support and new local solutions.
